“Mint To Be Friends” Valentine’s
These little cards are delightful and versatile. Attach a single Andes mint, a peppermint patty, a piece of mint gum, or a small pack of Tic Tacs to create a cute, inexpensive gift. The printable is labeled “We Were MINT To Be Friends” and works well for classroom valentines, party favors, youth group invites, or simple pick-me-ups for neighbors and coworkers.

I created these for a Compli”MINT” activity at church and used them as invites for the girls in our youth group, adding the date and time on the back. They also translate well to many other occasions thanks to the variety of mint candies available.

I found small novelty boxes of Tic Tacs that were a big hit with the youth group. Each mini box holds several pieces and makes the card feel extra special. For a more budget-friendly option, a regular box of mints or a single wrapped mint taped to the card works perfectly.

The printables print six cards per page. I recommend using card stock so the cards are sturdy; attach the candy with double-sided tape or a small glue dot so it stays in place.
Who will you share these with?

Young Women Compli”MINT” Activity Idea
Here is a simple, meaningful activity that works well with a youth group or small gathering. We used it for a Young Women activity and plan to do it again.
Give each person a piece of cardstock pinned to their back with a safety pin. Provide pencils or markers and have everyone circulate, writing a compliment or uplifting note on each person’s paper. Because the notes are written on the back, participants won’t know who wrote what until the end.
When everyone has had a chance to write on each paper, remove the safety pins and hand out the cards. Allow a few minutes for everyone to read the comments and then invite volunteers to share anything that surprised or touched them. The responses tend to be very heartfelt, and it can be a powerful reminder of the positive things others see in us.
We served mint ice cream for dessert, but mint cookies or any simple mint treat would be lovely. The activity requires minimal prep—safety pins, thick paper, and writing utensils—and creates a memorable, affirming experience.
